The aviation industry has been thoroughly enjoying an extended bull run for the past decade. How long more can this bull run? It has been the question asked for the last number of years.

One of those signals can be seen, particularly in 2019 when overall aircraft movement and total passenger movement showing steep decline. In summary, it is generally accepted that the industry cycle has peaked and is heading on a slow downward trajectory.

PT Angkasa Pura II (it will be called AP II from now on) is a state-owned enterprise that is responsible to manage airports in the western part of Indonesia. Three new airports have joined AP II’s management that makes AP II operates 19 (nineteen) airports throughout the year. It serves traffic approx. 734.5 thousand aircraft movements and 90.05 million passengers in 2019, down around 20% from the previous year. Despite all the conditions, AP II is the market industry leader yet in Indonesia, which is approx. 49% passengers traffic generated.

AP II strives to become the best smart connected airport operator in the region. On becoming the best smart connected airport and adapting to modern communications technology, employees must act as airport users who are aware of the existence of technology. AP II enables its employees to receive personalized, relevant, and time-sensitive information from their organization, wherever they are, on their mobile devices simply by accessing an app, called HC HELPDESK – so they stay informed about the company and can do their jobs more efficiently.

HC HELP DESK is made to become ‘helper’ for employees when they want to know specific files about regulation and policy regarding human capital. In addition, there is no term in the future such as: human capital regulations and policies are difficult to obtain, management tends to hide information from the employees, only employees from the headquarters have access to all human capital information and so on.

There are many features that can be used by employees, such as:

-Embedded into iPERFORM all apps used by employees are available in the iPerform, all in one application for AP2’s employees.

-Profile
A module that contains infographic about human capital information. In this module, employees can find out the AP2 employees classification, the proportion of employees in all branches, employee productivity, etc.

-Bank Rules & Policies
A module that contains rules, policies and regulations relating to employees such as: Employee Remuneration, Employee Health Service, Employee Pension Fund and many more.

-Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
A list of questions and answers about human capital that are often asked by employees to the management. FAQ that is often mentioned by employees will always appear on the first page.

-Contact Center
A module when employees choose to interact with admin as they want to obtain information about human capital, but couldn’t find it on the Bank Rules & Policies and FAQ
